Yoga the second time around was much easier. I felt as though I accomplished the majority of the things i couldn't from when i tried the first time.

Chest and Back
The cycle starts over again, and begins with chest and back. This is a great exercise to build back strength. Every muscle group has been feeling compensated for. Especially because on top of working out I play basketball.

March 25 (30 Days)
Today was supposed to be Kenpo, but as Tony says the beautiful thing about p90x is you can change it up and do different exercises to change things up. Since Kenpo is primarily cardio, I decided to play basketball for three hours.
March 24th (30 Days)
Legs and back
This exercise was very demanding. It made my legs and lower core feel almost out of control. I did a combination of so many leg moves that the next day my legs were the sorest i have been since i started working out.

Yoga
This was the first time I have ever done the p90x yoga section. I was pleasantly surprised how challenging it was. There were a few moves that I couldn't do, but over time i will be able to do them. Yoga required a lot of balance and muscle strength. This is one of my exciting moments that i have experienced. I have learned that i like yoga a lot.

Today was a rather easy workout comparatively. I tied three workout bands together to create more tension that made my workout much harder. I did a combination of seated and standing shoulder extensions, and several curls.

Plyometrics
Today was solely based on cardio, core, and leg strength. I worked out with my friend Nick today. We did a combination of both running and movement exercises. We worked our legs and calves to the point of destruction. Today was one of the hardest workouts in the series and on top of this I played basketball for two hours. There have been no issues so far and P90 x has been going great.

March 20th (30 days)
Today is the first day I have been able to come back to p90x.
Today was Arms and back. I did several different types of push ups including standard, close grip, diamond, military and incline. This was in addition with the same forms of pull ups. After the main work out I did Ab ripper X for 15 minutes. I had a great work out today and I feel a lot was accomplished.

March 14th-17th
I missed Tuesday's class due to a stomach virus. I have a doctor's note to validate this situation. The Doctor said the trauma from my surgery was probably the reason why my immune system was down so low. I have been up late puking and having painful diarrhea. Luckily The doctor has prescribed me medicine that helps with both symptoms. This has once again hindered the progress of my workout regiment, but I am not going to give up and I will finish the second month of p90x even if it takes longer than the 30 days.
March 7th-14th
Monday I had to have an unexpected surgery to remove my impacted wisdom teeth. With that being the case i was not able to do any work outs. Since i missed about a week i will just skip the rest week when it comes and continue the work outs.
March 6th (30 days)
Kenpo Karate
The karate circuit has made it's way around again. There are three different levels of intensity that goes up at the end of each month. Until you are ready for the next level it is important to work hard on the same work outs.

Push ups
Today is straight muscle growth. There is a combination of both push ups and pull ups that are very hard to accomplish. But as Tony says just do your best and forget the rest. If you cannot keep up with the video then you can go at your own pace and build your own progress up.

Plyometrics
This is one of the two hardest work outs in the series. It is a mix of both cardio and endurance. This work out will make even those in the best shape sweat, and there have been many times i have wanted to throw up due to the intensity.

rest day
The options for rest days include either yoga or self stretching. I choose stretching because i am not flexible enough to do most of the moves that are done during yoga.

March 1st (30 day emmersion project)
Kenpo Karate
Today was a difficult work out that included utilizing both cardio and muscular endurance. I did a mix of both kicking punching and intense cardio moves to keep heart rate at a fast steady pace. According to the box approximately 1000 calories will be burned with each exercise so dieting should not be a huge issue but i am still eating healthy and only drinking water.

Arguments are a very common form of communication. When arguing with a peer it is important to keep in mind a purpose and not just a release of random emotions that can make people upset. There are many ways one can go about choosing a positive argument. It is important to learn how to best construct each argument into something which can be used in a positive manner. Knowing the difference between reporting and arguing can be useful by letting both parties involved realize the situation. By seeing when one is just reporting it can be assumed that all the information is known. By arguing people can both learn from one another.
Ethos, pathos, and logos are all important factor of arguing. Ethos appeals to credibility and authority. Pathos appeals to emotion, and logos appeals to logic and reason. When arguing it is important to keep each of these factors in mind and use each category to get one's point across. When one can master each one of these categories they can easily win any argument with anyone. It is important to listen to the person you are debating with. Learning from what they are saying is a very useful way to help back up one's own argument.

RR 6
The author of A Few Seconds of Panic has achieved a very difficult and successful immersion study. Being an average sized man and beside the fact he played college soccer, average athleticism manages to work hard enough to become a professional kicker in the NFL. He starts from basically ground zero, works out, gets a kicking coach, then proceeds to go to training camp. After Training camp he goes through several tests of beating out the other rookie kickers and eventually earning a starting spot for the Denver Broncos.
Stefan endured several challenges that I intend to face as well. Stefan was given a very hard time for his efforts initially and i intend to get the same thing from the people living on my floor. Stefan also had to show determination and hard work to make it through training camp and to become an NFL kicker. If Stefan wasn't a determined individual then he would have just remained a reporter. He took it to the next level and immersed himself in a situation any sport loving man would dream of. Because of this I have gained a lot of respect for Stefan and everything he was able to accomplish.

The view of the field while playing in the NFL is surreal. The stadium looks like a high tech place with Broncos colors. Stephon is the son of a former NFL player. The Veterans do not treat the kickers very kindly. The quarterbacks are just as stuck up as they have always been. Stephon explains his experience of trying out for during the Bronco’s summer camp. Four different kickers are present at the summer camp. Stephon Is called up in front of the rest of the Athletes and they make him clap and dance. The performance makes the coach and players like him.
Cbs at this time was just taking over broadcasting pro football. Celebrity sports writers could become friends with famous athletes. And the athletes didn’t mind talking to them. The team camps were different back then. Players had to actually bring what they needed and it wasn’t provided. The lions were some of the best players in the league. They also had alternative summer jobs. Stephon decided to just master his skill of kicking instead of everything like the other players.
Everything in football has a background. No matter how good the athletes are there are people in the background. Football is a business so there are several positions. Stephon believes if he works very hard he can be as good as a good kicker on his bad day. Stephon is a good business man while he is trying to get on the field at the same time as working to play. He will be the second reporter in history to play for a pro team.

Chapter 4-5 1/25/11
While researching, looking for information on the internet is not a good first choice. When one types in key words thousands if not millions of hits good and bad will appear. Spending time looking through credible sources is not an efficient use of time. The first step is deciding whether or not one needs to find a primary source. This is a much more time consuming way to retrieve information but at times can be necessary. If one is allowed to use a secondary source it is a much easier way to conduct research. Considering the expectations of your audience is key in determining which source is to be used.
Using recent and familiar sources of information is key to writing a successful work. If one works familiar with a source that is known to be credible, then that eliminates the issue of finding a credible source. The likely hood of being able to find all the research one needs for a work with a few familiar sources is very rare. So in order to help diminish the vast amount of hits one will get on Google, one needs to use specific terms. The more specific one gets the less and more useful hits will come up.
Only using the internet may seem like the right thing to do but text can be a very beneficial tool. When using text one needs to keep in mind that text can get out of date. There are three main types of text. These include; static, syndicated, and dynamic. Static texts are sources that are published once and never change. Syndicated texts are sources are released every period of time. These include magazines or journals. The last form is dynamic text. Dynamic text is a source that is never published in final for and is constantly being revised. Dynamic are sources that allow people to interact with each other in this case to obtain information. These include but are not limited to Myspace, Facebook, and Wikipedia.
While the previously stated forms of obtaining information are great, primary sources are a much more accurate engaging way to retrieve information. Actually observing a situation is the best way to observe and collect useful information. When using this form of collecting information it is important to keep in mind how one intends to get this information. Some questions one might ask are; "when should can I observe this event?", "Will I realistically learn what I need to know from this event?", or "Does me being here tamper with the credibility of this information I am about to retrieve?". Those are a few of several questions witnesses must take into consideration.
After obtaining this information it is important have thought out way to keep everything organized. Keeping a journal is a great idea. The best way to make sure one does not miss anything is to consider taking a recorder to an event. Having others around to help get a different point of view is another excellent idea. This is referred to as coding. With all this instruction on how obtain useful data people will better learn how to be a more efficient writer.

1/18/11 Wadsworth Ch. 2-3, RR #2
As equivalent in math, there is no formula that can cover all forms of writing. Not all writing follows the conventional form of writing. There are several myths about writing that need to be taken into consideration. These include; You must complete each step in the writing process, each step is equally important and time consuming, the steps are linear. Writing should not be one defined process. Writers should evaluate their own way they need to go about writing and find the way that works the best for them. This chapter gives a basic outline one could use on any form of writing.
That said it doesn’t cover specific forms of writing someone might have to cover. Being able to use a writing style requires people to understand how to evaluate which need be used. To write effectively writers must take advantage of kairos. If you do not, it is likely you will leave out interesting details. After finding a topic that interests you, find what elements of that topic interest you. It is important to have several sub topics that could cause you to become more interested. Upon using all these factors in one's writing, the final product will be more polished and written in a more effective manner.
